John Judson Peirson passed away September 24, 2018 at Yorktown Manor in Yorktown, IN.  John was residing at Yorktown Manor for two months after moving there from South Carolina’s Veterans’ facility.  John suffered from Alzheimer’s for the past 8 years and a heart problem.

John is survived by his wife Gail Peirson, his children; John Peirson of New Jersey, Ellen Peirson of Indiana, Linda and Scott Erny of Indiana, and Sara and Rodney Velardi of New Jersey; as well as 7 grandchildren.  

The cremation by the Indianapolis Funeral Care will be followed by internment at Pennsville Veteran’s Cemetery with U.S.A.F. honors, in Pennsville, NJ on October 19 at 1:30 p.m.

    I am so sorry to hear of the death of John. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible’s promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.

    Im so sorry for your loss. I only knew jonh for a short period of time working at Yorktown manor but he was definitely one of a kind, such a sweet soul and i truly enjoyed our conversations and good laughs. He will be dearly missed. My prayers to family and friends.
